Bus Cyprus is designed to work without collecting or transmitting personal information. Specifically:

We do not collect, store, or transmit your device's location or GPS coordinates to our servers or to any third party. Any location-based features (such as showing nearby stops or routes) are processed locally on your device and are never sent to us.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials, because the App does not require you to create an account or log in.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. The App does not integrate third-party services such as Google Maps, Firebase, or ad networks.

We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data, because we do not collect any.

Information the App Uses

To show live bus positions, routes, and schedules, Bus Cyprus communicates only with our own backend/API, which provides public transport data (bus locations, routes, timetables) for Cyprus. This communication does not include any information that identifies you personally, and no location data about you or your device is sent as part of these requests.

Standard, non-identifying technical data (such as anonymous network requests needed to load bus and route information) may pass through our servers as part of normal app operation, but this is not linked to your identity and is not used to track or profile you.

Children's Privacy

Bus Cyprus does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country), because the App does not collect personal information from any user.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store personal data or location data, there is no user data held on our servers that could be exposed in the event of a security incident related to personal information.

Third-Party Links

The App may display bus route or schedule information sourced from public transport data, but does not embed third-party trackers or SDKs. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
